February Roundup; CNY's

During any eve-celebrations, it'll be one whole lot of disastrous and stressful days for the parents. Fatass Michelle, Rufus and I were not any somewhat parents. But, it's an assurance that we were in the same footstep as those parents were. Any celebrations for the matter, eve's the most busiest days, where preps must be quickly and nicely done before the arrival of the real day of celebration.

It's not just us. Citizens woke up early to set up the decors, lanterns etc.

Gorverners too; during midnight, there'll be really fiery red hot lanterns strecthed along the lamp posts. Very warm indeed.

Back to the decors, the stereotype of decorating a house or a living room during Cny does really exists. Briefly, whenever you passed-by their houses, you can clearly see one pair of red hot lanterns. Okay, maybe two pairs, if they had places for it. On the other hand, for living rooms, most of them will show-off their newly decorated pussywillows, which is the snapshot above. (Think of a Ch
ristmas tree, decorated nicely with striking gold tinsels and silver wire ornaments.)

Here's one good news. Luckily, we all were not married. Married couples gave out red packets, which contain a huge sum of money. Some. Not all. Fatass Michelle was kind enough. She gave Rufus and I beef-sticks. No, she gave ME beef-sticks! (*Loved*)

Cut the chase, our prep was just baking C-grade cookies. Not tiring, not that hectic, but, all we had was a medium sized oven. Time was limited. To stop any lame suspension which Fatass highly supports on, I'll put up the next image for a better imagination, on how C-grade babies would look like.

I don't quite remember how many containers we've filled up. Some of them were made and posted in this doggie blog for the past few months. Am only posting those which never made it here.

C-grade Baby No.1
Red Bean Pastry

From its name, no doubt that the fillings will be made out of red beans.

Red bean pastes were bought so that things would go smoother and easier.

Pastries were taken out twice for the egg-wash process.

And it was a hit of all the other C-grade cookies because of the soft texture the pastry has and the generous red beans fillings.

As it turns to be baked, the surface will turned into golden brown.

C-grade Baby No.2
Green Bean Pastry

It's the same as red bean pastry. It's only the matter of fillings. Fillings were substituted for the other, green bean.

Generous fillings doesn't mean anything. It tasted C-okay. Like most other C-grade babies did. Still, the red bean tasted best.

C-grade Baby No.3
Choc Chips Cookies

It's very powdery and chocolatey. Powdery, which we can classified it as melt-a-lil-in-your-mouth cookies, I guess.

The dough needed to be refrigerated as it was very soft in terms of texture. After refrigerated for an hour or two, the dough became handy.

Loaded with chocolate chips and very very chocolatey. Very.

We smelt cocoa from here. Blame the cocoa powder.

C-grade Baby No.4
Flat Choc Chunks Cookie

Fatass was a chocoholic. And always will be. Forever. Dogs can't be one because there'll be side effect on them. Google the effects. I'm out of words to describe the whole bad effects thingie. This cookie here was made out of cookie dough and chocolate chunks.

Dough was refrigerated to further the process. The dough do looked like cookies and cream ice-cream.

1-1/2 cups of chopped chocolate were used. Insanely chocolatey.

But doesn't have any cocoa aroma; since it was purposely omitted. Flat and crispy. With a hint of melted chocolate chunks.

And we did store them in an air-tight container.

C-grade Baby No.5
Cornflakes' Cups

As easy as D-O-G. Snoopy's cornflakes were used. The cornflakes already had a thin layer of brown sugar and powdered sugar. So, I do not need to switched on any mixer to mix the flour etc. Because there's ready-made cornflakes to be used.

Yellow mini paper cups were used, instead of the black ones. Black ones should be nicer, but Fatass sulked when I've chosen black. So, yellow got to go. I'll keep the black ones.

Before taking them into the oven, these babies needed to be cooked once in a deep pan with a sufficient amount of honey and butter. That is the main reason that the readily baked cornflakes' cups were hard to be taken off from the mini paper cups. Boy oh boy.

Then, D.I.Y-mixing is needed, in the deep pan. Thrust and throw them over, to ensure each and every flake will be covered with honey and butter.

When mixing is done, put a tablespoonful of these flakes into the mini paper cups. Not too much, and not too little.

Baked them, in a preheated oven. When done, these babies will turned out fine, golden brown, like a newly tanned Brazilian goddess. And yet, shiny.

After they were cooled on wire racks, it's time to locked these babies up, into a transparent container. Shout babies, shout!! (*Aah*)

C-grade Baby No.6
Milo & Choc Cookies

Made out of milo powder and half the cocoa powder. One cut-out cookie that doesn't need to be refrigerated. The cookies were airy though.

And not sweet enough, for us. So, I came up with an idea, that is to top some chocolate ganache. Fatass Michelle just nodded.

Thus, first layer of topping was spreadable chocolate ganache made out of cooking choc and a little bit of vegetable oil for easy spreading.

By adding milo bits, it was a bit lumpy. Dots, oh dog?! We don't care because it's C-graded. Come on. (*smiles*)

And next layer, topped with a mixture of milo powder and icing sugar. Sweet toppings with not sweet cookie as base. Life's saved.

Once again, they were store into airtight containers, like how I used to store the other babies. But, with an additional piece, layers of parchment paper.

C-grade Baby No.7
Melting Moments Without Cornflakes

Based on Periplus's Cookbook, since it looked simple, we take on the easy challenge. This melting moment cookie recipe does not need any cornflakes as part of its ingredients. That'll be good, as we wanted to try to bake the other ideal melting moments with cornflakes in it for a comparison. The cookie turned out to be not that tasty enough. Looked bland, tasted bland.

We've changed something here. In an exact way, I should say, we've altered the recipe, by adding something in it. We rolled in brown sugar, that can be seen from the snapshot above, where sprinklings of the brown sugar were seen. Beforehand, the unbaked dough was flattened twice with a fork. The pattern shows.

After some time in the oven, the baked cookies were taken out and dusted with icing sugar. Powdered all over. Real powdered.

As for that, we've overturned the cookies to make sure that the icing was not too much.

Alas, the cookies were arranged in order, like five petals, with one in the middle. Carefully. And no parchment paper was needed. Easy!

C-grade Baby No.8
Melting Moments With Cornflakes

The other melting moment. An ideal melting moment if you asked me, while comparing the other one from Periplus above. As we can see here, it has loads of small broken cornflakes. And yes, I've been an avid user of Snoopy's cornflakes which have been lightly dusted with brown sugar.

Talking about the dough, rounded one inch balls were formed, using my furry paws. Dunk them into crushed cornflakes. Roll, roll and WHAM!

All flattened out by my small but strong paw-fist. The cookie holds onto the flakes well though. So, keep the UHU GLUE at bay!

Popped into the oven. 15 mins, voila! The cookie turned out to be crumbly, while the cornflakes were crunchy, with a little hint of brown sugar and icing.

Stored in an airtight tupperware. Simply. Don't need to be arranged in order, as long as it's facing up, and it's all done! Nothing much to be raved on, it's one simplest recipe which most beginners would try on. "Simple and elegant" - one of petite Rachel Koh's favourite quote.

C-grade Baby No.9
Checkerboard Cookies

The cookie dough was self-altered. Very special. Thanks to my helpers, Christina and Siti. Without any recipe book, Christina ordered Siti to mix in the ingredients. That's very hmm... Good. I was bewildered. Fatass Michelle was dumb-founded. Rufus was, hmm... In his kennel, sleeping soundly, as quiet as a mouse.

They managed to make the yellow dough and choc dough. After looking at the checkerboard idea, which, I, Whisky, have suggested, they finally agreed. Siti then take orders from Christina while Christina do her duties. What an idea? But these girls are way creative than a cute little poochie like me.

They came up with, pinwheels shape and mixed-up balls shape, other than the one I suggested. Very creative. Just like me. Woof! (*winks*)

Soon then, the checkerboard was chosen, to be baked in bulk. See, dogs will never be wrong! Guess what, the last verdict for these Christina D.I.Y cookie tasted good, good as in, it tasted similarly like most shops have been selling. Very amusing and mysterious woman...

C-grade Baby No.10
Christina's Cake-Cookies

One of Christina's next experiments. Once again, Siti took her orders. I can sense her doggie-bake-it-yourself in her. She's... She came up with the cake-cookie, where flours were substituted with self-raising ones.

And see that cute middle choc cake-cookie? Barked Out Loud. It looks so much like my wastings. A nicer and proper word. It tasted cakey. Like cake and erm, cookie. Well, they have fun with the pipings as well, while gramps was chit-chatting with Fatass. That was where the baking sessions had ended. Finally.

That was the eve's. What's up on the very first day of Chinese New Year? And the other Cny days?
Well, supposingly we were all as happy as Mika did in his Grace Kelly music video. I bet you doggie-lovers had the same as we did. Fatass was all groggy due to late nights. Switch to the other topic, Rufus and I were as tired as hell. Clad in red doggie apparels. We had a wholesome of camwhore shots here. Loads. Just in case no one know who's Rufus and Whisky, here we are... With more descriptive info after each hot shots. BOL.

Me, myself and I, McWhisky.

The white albino which I hated when he camwhored too much, poser McRufus. See, you know what I mean now... Yoga pose made him his day.

Rufus, the fattie was very proud when people go huh-hah over his yoga pose. That was his reaction. High-nosed.

Rufus and I were dressed in fiery red. That was hot. No, I was the hottest. (*Smiles*)

Damn, bad angle! I looked like a dumb blonde. Dogged you Fatass Mich, dumbass photographer who takes awful shots.

You shouldn't be laughing, you big fat albino! You're not as photogenic as me though.

Rufus gets more attention than I did. Nah, just because he got a red Chinese samfu suit which Fatass bought for him in Hong Kong, that doesn't mean that he's cuter. As for me, my suit was a stretchable one, more breathable. See, he's sweating. His samfu suit was super thick. Good for him. He needs a fast-diet. Slim down, boy.

A fresco of him... What a modelled act?!

See, poochies like us got more hugs and kisses during Cny's. Too bad, Fatass an ass. BOL.

More hugs and kisses for us!

More!!! (*Growls*)

Prosperity McWhisky, me!

Prosperity McRufus, him!

Fatass Michelle, no prosper-prosper. You're very prosperous now!

There's more shots to come. But editing is super tiring. Rufus and I were tired too. And he's telling us! How honest. No more camwhore-camwhore.

On other days, Fatass got some cute and colorful mini Yee-sang's snapshots posted right here.

That's one of the must-eat dishes. Where you can play frisbee and tossing with it. Boy, it was fun.

But, it's more like Kitty's fav meals. Fresh uncooked salmon and scallops. And sour sauces.

Come Kitty Kitty...

One of the best altered snapshot from Rufus for doggie-lovers out there, wishing "Happy Belated Cny". For any downloads of these images, without any words on it of course, jog to my deviantart. You'll get them there. FYI, copyrighted. (*Grin*)

To sum things up, the master of all must at least shows his best features, which is nonetheless, Mcwhisky, me. Wishing "Happy Belated Cny".

February Roundup; Valentines

We're totally making a come-back. By doing round-ups, we will be saving much more time. Getting to the main point, the month of February was awesome. Awesome, in the sense that, hey, we've got whole loads of post to be paw-printed. Counting with my paws, excluding Fatass Michelle's fingers and toes, there were exactly 2 occasions which make February an alluring and exicting month for everyone of us, which were Chinese New Year's and Valentine's. Back to the main point, does it make any sense if we are now wishing readers/doggie-lovers a "Happy Belated Valentines"? (*smiles vainly*)

Yes, I do agree that adorable poochies like Rufus and I were as cute as hell in the Valentines snapshots above. Moving on, Fatass Michelle had made a few C-grade desserts just to go with the theme for the day; Valentines.

For the first one, which is a piece of cake, it's what she called the coffee bites. Not a cake, but a... I do not know what real bakers named them.

With a thick layer of coffee fillings (thick and can be lumpy, so, it shouldn't be a mousse I guess), a crumbly base made out of digestive bix and melted butter, and a soft, creamy thingie; which is beaten egg whites and sugar, topped with DARS white chocolate, it had a new profound, lame name; coffee bites! I can't think of something better. Mind us.
Whisky's verdict
: Just nice, but the fillings was too thick though smooth, aroma of the coffee was not strong enough, need to be refrigerated so that the base holds on together.

Without hestitation, Fatass sort these coffee bites out and kept them in a pink packaging before getting her hands on the mixer for the other C-grade dessert.

Here goes the other.
The one which really goes with the theme, Valentines. Come on, low-calories, not too sweet and more importantly, nutritious, what's not to like? With fruits which had the same fur texture as an Alsation do. Short brown fur. Wired a little due to lack of moisturizer. Here's a hint...

Yes, do bark aloud. It's the Kiwi's. Fatass the dumbass gave me her suggestions. Saying that we should topped the dessert with a big brown furry unpeeled Kiwi, in order to make it look a bit of doggielicious. What the dog?! One insane fatass talking poppycock to a sane flatass. To get a bigger picture; here's my version of the topping, based on the Valentines theme.

Voila! Just nice. Looked juicy. Let's get to the full view of it because I'm really running out of words and the suspense mood.

Do rub your eyes. I did. Because this is the first and the last time I'll be taking that as a title; Low-Calorie Kiwi Pudding. What a name. I forgave Fatass for putting up that name. But boy, it was cute - with my carved kiwi as the topping. Washing the moulds was the worst thing ever. One word; troublesome. Our newly bought you-measure-yourself moulds ranging from Rm6+ each were used. Good thing, our helper cleans them.

After baking them approximately for 10 to 15 minutes, the unbaked turns into baked puddings, generally made out of egg whites and sugar. No egg yolks involved. Yes, very low in calorie. Soon then, after the cooling session, I've transferred these baked puddings into round microwaveable round tupperwares, there's sauces incurred. So, pretty boxes were banned for that.

Next step; FILLING THE PUDDING WITH YOUR LOVE. That's meaningful enough for our Valentines celebration. Filling in your love and present them to your loved ones. Fatass the dumbass suggested that real pure blood sounds even better. That's what you get when you talked to an insane fatass.

Done. All filled up, with kiwi flavoured yogurt. And beneath it, as sauces, just in case the pudding was too dry.

They do blend well, with sour yogurt sauces and sweet pudding, with the not-so aromatic kiwi smell. All in all, it's very low in calorie. That's what matters the most. Barked Out Loud.
Whisky's verdict
: Blended well, sweet and sour. Best served cold, or not it'll be a little sticky. Glad that it uses easy-to-get ingredients which we can buy them in any mart rather than bakery stores.

And luckily, these C-grade babies arrived on time for our loved ones, the very best bud and the very best soulmate of Fatass. Well, to end this Valentine's post, have great belated V-days, doggie-lovers!

Buh-Bye Kahmun & Kahwye

Few days left before these smarties fly to Aus, Brisbane to further their studies. The red bubbly human being, owner of Fat Louie will be taking on courses related to hospitality and management. Sort of. (*Smiles*). The other smartie is going for event management course. Kick me if I'm wrong. I'll correct them. We'll be here praying for these brainy smarties all day long wishing them in a PINK of health, Kahmun; wishing you in a RED of health. Yes, colors does matter. (*Winks*).

# To Rachel Kahmun, enjoy yourself over there, and wishing you all the best in Aus.
# To Kahwye, good luck in your studies and do enjoy the kimchi flavoured seaweed cause it'll remind you of Fatass's lame remarks.

In short, we'll be missing you gurls for maybe, erm, 2 years+. Take good care of Fat Louie and the rice cooker. (*Grin*). Buh-bye couz and have a safe trip. XOXO. :)

Baked In A Batch

From the title itself, it's pretty obvious that it'll be under the baking good's label. I was dumb-founded when Fatass planned to bake various unbakes into baked cookies. Biscuits or cookies, it does not matter much. What matters the most were the ingredients used, time to be baked in the oven and the handler. Okay, not an ideal catch-phrase I've used here. Does not ryhme together, but at least, readers might get the idea what I'm trying to barked out of it.

Since Fatass Mich and Servante' De Molly had scratched their head for days, thinking about Esther's buhbye-gifts, I suggested that a box of cookies would be an ideal and perfect gift. Make it easy, would it be a bit of fun if you get to chow down on C-grade assorted cookies in Melbourne while having a good cuppa and flipping your Physics exercise book while your friends are celebrating CNY in the latter's cousin's house? (*Winks*). In short, the C-grade assorted cookies might remind you about
Molly and the infamous C-grade baker, Fatass. (*Devilish grin*). So, both of them agreed on my brainy brainstormed ideas. Servante' De Molly will get those ingredients while Fatass Mich will figure what cut-out dough would be like. Having a good thought of real chocolate-box cookies made by Fatass, it might be a senseless thought and I might be brainless by the minute I talk about it. Fatass Mich was determined and convinces us that she can handle the unbaked dough in weeks. Mind me, I was exaggerating! Aiming to catch all the reader's attention for the sake of this bloggie for a few seconds before getting to this line.

Moving on, it would be a perfect timing since Fatass plans to bake the unbakes for her best butts-buds-pals, close friends and mum's friends. So, it's like killing two birds with one dried poo. It's more hassle-free.

Anyway, it took Fatass Mich one sleepless night to get the ooey goey dough into the oven and lastly, into the containers and disposable plastic's. Although it doesn't seemed to be as good as what it would look like, at least, there's a few lines of words hidden in the baked dough. Take a bite on it, you'll get what I mean. Sincerity, care, love and poos. A big applause and owhhh. For the attempt to simplify them, I'll kick off the cute word; 'poos'.

I've counted. Exactly, baked them in a batch, Fatass successfully got 8 C-grade cookies. It was what most Chinese human beings would call for; when it comes to betting their wholesome hard-earned money on 3D's, 4D's, 5D's, 6D's - my version of D's. Eight, 8, Lapan; which translates into the word 'fatt' in Cantonese. 'Fatt' goes along with 'choy'. So, it's 'fatt choy', which means longevity and being prosperous. Besides, 'fatt' does go with Rufus and fatass too. Think hard. (*Smiles Lamely*).

Before laying off her hands on the electrical mixer, Fatass jotted all the ingredients and recipes from all sorts of cooking book. Then, she looked out for refrigerated cookies. To name a few, almond cookies, dark choc chips cookies and lemon biz. To save time, she get her fatass off the chair and mix the ingredients for a few of the planned-out refrigerated ones, then only to the "straight away into the oven-ones". Refrigerated cookies are the ones which need to be stored 30 minutes+ into the fridge before popping them out into the preheated oven. After the cooling and hardened process, the cookie dough will be much easier to be cut-out with cut-out moulds.

Almond cookies were the first batch. Rolled into a long cylinder with approx 3cm in diameter before they were refrigerated. Simple recipe; flour, almond essence, butter, castor sugar were incurred, but had the expensive ingredient; 200g of finely chopped almonds for a tastier almond cookie. RM4.90 for 100g. Do the maths. And the outcome for the recipe was about 1 red-covered container. Approx 5-6 dozen depending how thick and wide the cookie was. They look inauspicious when they were half-way baked. They do look like fry tofu when they were baked, look like, but texture wise; I can assure you that it's not. How we wished it was, where it crumbles when we had our first bite on it. And that shiny part glistening on its upper surface was indeed a bad idea; eggwashed by beaten egg whites and egg yolks. Crunchier but almond cookies should be soft. Should be. Tends to be.

Getting to the refrigerator back and forth to get the dark choc chips cookie dough and to make sure that they were cold and solid enough to withstand the knife-cutting part, it was fun. Fun for me to see Fatass doing the job. What goes back and forth? Fatass. If there's back and forth, there must be something to do with up and down. To ease off your boredom, here's a quick riddle. What goes up and down? Hmmm... I bet you'll know the answer. (*Smiles Lamely*).

Shape does matter. Sizes too. It deters the baking time. The verdict; the flatter cut-out cookies were a lot crunchier and darker. The half-rounded poo-look-alike was softer, tasted like how rock cookie was. Fatass did put some toasted nuts in it, nuts... Not macadamias. (*Frowns*).

Lemon biz was, erm. It had gone into a huge oven-make-over. All flattened out. Probably due to the double action baking powder. I thought the bigger it was, the better it is. Not 'I', Fatass that is. She's wrong. Anyhow, it turned out to be a real biz. Too lemoney. Dipped into the icing and powdered sugar just to make it look more edible. (*Grin*).

While waiting for the refrigerated cookies to be baked ones, Fatass Mich hurriedly crawled in exhaustion towards the table where the electrical mixer was placed. To wreck her nerves, I purposely chivvied her. I gave her an innocuous remark though. I'm not a meanie afterall. (*Angelic Smile*). Moving on, it's something related to CNY. Chinese pretzels were not complex and Fatass had fun "tying" them.

Effortlessly easy. Paws down. With easy-to-find daily essential items; flour, eggs, butter, salt and sugar. Why not? Well, chinese pretzels, that is! The pretzels were tied cutely. To be exact, it's 'weirdly', but that part was as easy as D-O-G. The frying part was nicely done by Christina. Thank you very much, Christina. Here, I wanna apologize for chewing your hair that day. (*Devilish Laughter*).

Choc Chips Cookie was next. Differs from the black ones; dark choc chips cookie. The only similarities were the choc chips and butter used. The weight of the ingredients incurred were so much different, and this had yellow coloring added in it. Texture wise, this cookie is softer. However, it still maintain its crunchiness, though not as crunchy as the black ones. Besides, smells buttery than the latter. Margerine does the magic.

Ahh, freshly baked somemore. That's where the aroma gets into my sensitive part of all; with my scent receptors awakens, my big black nose.

Typically, this is a pressed cookie dough. Got a croissant-alike cookie by using the cookie-dough-presser. If you're as imaginative as I am, you might see some sea shells with a small black poo on top of them. (*Smiles*). Since Fatass Mich is well-known for her lazy lifestyle, it is not surprising that she spoon the batter to the tray rather than giving the cookie-dough-presser a try.

Moving on, here comes another cut-out cookie. The peanut cookies. Not a nut-aholic. But this is yet another uncomplicated recipe that new self-proclaimed baker should try. Mind me. I'm an angel at heart.

The cut-out moulds were more like a sakura flower. And after popping the unbaked to the preheated oven, it turned out to be a star. Blame the wheatflour. (*Smiles*).

See the yellow-brownish thingy, which looked kinda flaky and thin on the surface of the peanut cookie? It's all because of the beaten eggs. The cookies were eggwashed before putting them into the oven.

Here comes the altered recipe which was altered from the peanut cookies. Choc bits and cocoa were added in it. Tasted much like chocolate cookie crumbles.

Found a cuter mould, a rabbit cut-out mould. Hmm, it's a playboy logo. Well, the ears always get stucked onto the moulds. So, Fatass made only some out of those playboy-bunny moulds. Consume loads of our time. (*Yawns*)

From the peanut cookie recipe, Fatass Michelle omitted the nuts and fold in finely chopped almonds and replaced granulated sugar with castor sugar. Since Valentine's coming so soon, why not something fancy and colorful like a pink cookie, most likely the best mould for it is the heart-shaped ones. So, strawberry emulco was added. Pink colorings was all gone. So, strawberry emulco is a good substitution for that - the emulco is all we have at that time. To some, the cookie smelt like BENADRYL. To others, it gives them the idea that the cookie should be a 'Strawberry Cookie'. (*Smiles*).

After cooling the baked cookies on a rack, it's time to store them into the containers. The only packaging we have were can-be-microwaved plastic containers, red-covered plastic containers, white breakfast bag and biz plastic bag. Red-covered plastic containers need a huge amount of baked cookies to filled them up. That's what we got for Esther, a buh-bye gift for her cause she's going Aus, Melb to pursue her Physics degree. (*Smiles*). I've chosen the biz plastic bag for Fatass best butts-buds and her close friends since it's more convenient and assorted cookies would look better in those bags. Job done! (*Hurray*)

It was super tiring but worth-while. Quite an experience for Fatass. Looking on the brighter side, we should be happy because glutton Rufus and I get to grab a bite on some of those choc-free cookies. Wonderful experience and a good number of cookies to start off with, EIGHT! (*Yay*)

All Black's

I've recently bumped into a baking site and found out something which interests me... This includes Fatass Mich. Fatass barked that the cute tiny weeny lil poos looked delicious. For an avid chocolate lover, it's impossible to say NO to that cute black poo posted in a food site; which I had accidentally stumbled upon. Babbling about macadamias and chocolate chips, this black poo does include them and it is undeniably scrumptious.

Fatass had a try on making them. We fought over the macadamias. Since we all know Fatass is sort of a cheapie, she had substituted the macadamias with nuts. Finely chopped peanuts were toasted in the oven to bring out the flavor and aroma of - nuts! As usual, we compete against one another. Who gets to make something out of the given ingredients will get a free slave-service for a day. For the first few minutes, Fatass was seen mixing butter, eggs, flour, cocoa, brown sugar, castor sugar, chocolate bits and chopped nuts with a mixer while I was busy chunking all the macadamias - not to toast or do the grinding part, but to eat them. About 20 minutes later, I've finally chewed and swallowed the pack of macadamias while on the other hand, Fatass seemed to be so busy spooning the batter into the greased tray. Fatass and I was counting impatiently when there's a minute left before the unbaked becomes baked, when the oven "tinks". Her unbaked cookies need 8 minutes to be done. Mine was a lot faster than that. She counted with her fingers while I was counting using my cute furry paws. Six seconds left - not an accurate timing but it's an approximation thingie.

Five...

Four...

Three...

Two...

"Psstt"

Whisky : Ahh~ (*sweats*). Alas! I let it all out - at once. All done! (*smiles with a saracastic expression*)
Fatass Mich : OH MY DOG!!

To Spice Blogs Up

Blogs with loads of vain pictures can actually take up more spaces than we realised. For a quick example, see me. Blogs with gazzillion of same coloured trebuchet-alphas and words will bore me to death, blogs which interests me are exceptional though. Rather spending your quality time on Adobe or Photoshop, why not try on slides, card generator etc. I found no-pix-blogs were not so dull and bored anymore, with the help of fancy old-looking library cards from blyberg.net, typically human beings called them the catalog card generator.

With loads of pix, just to grouped them into a batch, of one particular album that is "doggies" for instance, slide would be a perfect option. Given a choice of various eye-catching designs, borders, frames, skins and sizes. Easy yet not-time consuming.

Anyhow, it's shocking to know that I'm the last living thing on the E-earth who know stuffs about this. Come on, most of the bloggers knew what's slides and card generators. So, it IS shocking. And I'm very very outdated. As the old adage goes; it's never too old to learn.
